I am working with Bill May on rounding up sponsors for the Bartholomew County 4-H fair Winged mini / lightning sprint race (Columbus In.) Located approx: 1 mile south of Columbus off of St. Rd. 11 in Columbus IN. If (From Indianapolis take I-65 South to Exit 68 Columbus / Nashville then go East to St. Rd. 11 then south on St. Rd. 11 approx; 1 mile to fair grounds.

FRIDAY NIGHT JULY 5TH

I already know that pit passes will only be $15.00 per person.

We Currently have it set up for a $500.00 to win show with $75.00 to start.

I am trying to raise enough funds to make it a $1000.00 to win show with $100.00 to start, but this depends on sponsorship I round up by Tuesday.

A complete payout should be posted to this thread by Wednesday Evening.

I hope you can make this show, Tony Stewart night at the fair will be Tuesday July 9th with Tony to be on hand to run a TQ midget.

Hope all with mini sprints can make it.

Update on purse for the July 5th race at the Bartholomew county 4-H fair in Columbus In.

I picked up 2 new race sponsors today, The purse is growing, I have 4 other prospects for sponsoring this race. I am still shooting for my goal of a $1,000.00 to win show with a $100.00 to Start.

I will let everyone know an official purse payout on Wednesday.

How is the weather up their Mike? Looks like dust won't be a problem.

Wonder if the Fair Board would consider a double header?

Dad
Right now everything is good to go, The fair board added draining to the track a couple of years ago, It could rain a bunch and still be able to race. Would have to continue raining all day on Friday for us not to be able to race.

What is your thoughts on the double header, They can not do anything on Satuday because they have their Demo Derby scheduled for Saturday. Tractor pulls on Sunday and Mud bogs on Monday, TQ's will be there on Tuesday.

Hope you can make it up to race, I have been doing all I can to get extra sponsorship for this race, Would really like to give the race fans of Columbus a great show with more than 20 + cars.

Hopefully the following Drivers and Cars will be there for sure.

Beau Binder defending MMSA champion will be there

Hope to see

If everyone shows up that I just mentioned we will have at least 33 cars, What a show that would be.

Can we make it happen??
