If i go to 5 nights of sprint weeks i have to bring the beagle with me..I know some tracks have a no dog policy on the grounds..We will be staying in a rv at the track each night, any info on the camping areas being dog friendly?

When I attended sprintweek a few years back, I Rv'd with my labrador retriever. He stayed in the motorhome during the races, except at Bloomington, where we sat on the hill.

So, no real restrictions on dogs then..... but I'd call the tracks individually, just to confirm Fido's attendance in the camping area.....

I don't know about the tracks but we had a house beagle for 16 years, by far the best house pet we ever had.:thumb

Daisy is a great looking beagle. My beagle Dave always accompanied be to the races when I had my motorhome. If it is hot, be sure to turn your air on for Daisy before you go into the track. When you get back to the motorhome I am sure Daisy will be doing what beagle's are famous for, sleeping. Enjoy sprint weeks!!!

Do you know how to tell who your best friend is?

Lock your dog and your wife in the truck of the car.

Come back in 30 minutes and see which one is glad to see you.:rolling

Speaking of dogs at the races, one of the funniest incidents ever occurred at Bloomington just a few years ago when a dog that was with a couple seated on the hill behind turn one (above the asphalt walk) started howling during the singing of the national anthem. Not wanting to be disrespectful, most of us were able to stifle our laughter until after paying homage to our country. The singing wasn't that bad, but it apparently was the right frequency to cause pain to the dog's sense of hearing.
