Been kicking around the idea of putting together a non wing pavement sprint car and I am looking for the best source of information on doing it correctly. This car would be for going to local tune and test nights and gaining seat time for myself and mainly allowing my retired dad to experience some seat time as well as a hobby. Any input is appreciated. Thank you

My advice is to come to Anderson next week for Little 500 week. Tuesday is an open practice day and would be a good day and walk around and talk with the drivers and crew members. The sprints will also be there Wednesday thru Saturday.

If you just want to play, go buy a dirt car, hang four coil over springs on it and a right front brake. If you really want to get tricky, figure out how to put a rear pan hard bracket on it. It will be cheap, easy and you'll be surprised how competitive it can be. The true secret is no matter what, have fun!
