This happened about 5 years ago, before I was involved with the track. I'm anxious to see property damage to buildings. Illinois National Weather Service said rivers won't start to go back down until Tuesday. Hope you Hoosiers aren't getting it this bad.

Even though they are in a flood plain (Kickapoo Creek) they should be able to. Not surprised this happened after what is going on in Edwards, IL (upstream from the speedway) with it's worst flooding in 30 years and down stream in Bartonville, IL where they have a massive 15,000V transformer partially under water and yes that transformer is still charged.

Now this is meant as a joke so don't get you panties in a bind: Peoria Speedway is a stock car track so instead of bumper cars they could open for a night of bump boat races it's Kartsville will loan them the boats
