Clay County Speedway is out to make racing fun and family oriented. We as a crew have decided to postpone opening night, due to the predicted evening temperatures and pending weather conditions late Saturday and early Sunday morning.
Stay tuned for next weeks updates.
HOWEVER WE WILL BE AT THE TRACK FOR
OPEN PRACTICE THIS SATURDAY 2-5 ISH!
THIS WOULD BE A GREAT TIME TO COMPLETE UMP AND
TRACK LICENSE INFORMATION.

I'm gonna get flamed but this is a good financial decision. I know you all want to see racing but here and No Vernon and lil Belleville are gonna take a big hit in the grandstands and I want these tracks to be profitable so they will continue to provide us the best racing in the world.

I truely think everyone will understand, and fans, for the tracks that are running please support them, take an extra cover along tho........

Well this stinks! I was really looking forward to this Saturday. I do understand though, and Kevin, thank you for making the decision early. If I had woke up Saturday morning excited to go to the races and then found out, it would have been worse. Keep up the good work at CCS!
