As we think about some of our old sprint car racing memories, one that comes to mind were the " house cars". The builder owned a race car that was campaigned out on the road with a hired driver. Among these were the Stanton house car # 75, the Nance house car # 1n, the Ben Cook house car # 33x and the Gambler house car # 18. Do you remember any others and which would have the been the last " house car "?

Jenkin's had one,, I don't remember the number though,, I do some digging.. I think that may have been the last of the true house cars.

Bob Trostle had several drivers in his various "house Cars". The best known probably being Doug Wolfgang.
