Is it possible to have to much of a good thing ? A local track here runs micro's, slingshots and stage 1 mods. A total of nine divisions. They had 142 entries the last race. I cant sit through it all to watch the 600's run. Obviously they are doing a great job, and cater to the local racer. Personally I wish they would run nonwing lightning sprints along with the nonwing 600's, and drop the 270's. Also if you spin twice or get lapped gettem off the track, theres always next week.

I guess that depends on were the tracks focus is. Are they putting lots of fans in the stands or living off the back gate?

Still 9 classes seems like a lot!

3 divisions is enough for me. Kutztown I think has 3 on Wednesday evenings. Grandview used to only be 2 now it's 3 and that is more than enough. No thanks to Penn Can or 5 mile point for me to many divisions.

With alot of divisions I wonder how much you take from the premier classes. I'm not sure how many penncan has now 5 or 6. They get a full field of Modifieds and are getting quite a few sportsman car's (602's). Four classes to me would be nice at penncan: Big Blocks, sportsman, streetstocks and four cylinders. You could start low budget and work your way right up. Penncan is a real nice track, nicer than five mile point, imo. They have a 10 grand to win race coming up shortly, and more and more good teams are coming around. I only wish I liked todays modifieds. ok I looked they have five classes, pretty much what I listed above and a starter streetstock class. were going friday for the first time in awhile i'll let you guys know how it is.
