Thank You Mike and Kelly for all the wonderful Hoosier hospitality you showed me over the weekend. Five different races tracks in three days was certainly a new experience for me and showed me first hand some of the options race fans living in Indiana have to make weekly. Of course this two week period has a number of added choices for you all to make, I enjoyed every minute of being at Pole Day at Indy, the Silver Crown Race at Lucas Oil Raceway Park on Saturday and Winchester and Kokomo on Sunday with you.
While I have followed along with you on Andrew's Journey since the beginning, we never had the opportunity to meet until this past weekend. While we were meeting for the first time it also felt like we were long lost friends being reunited, to me that is a bond many of us on IOW have formed. I am forever greatful to Bill Gardner for giving us this site and my long time friend and IOW member the Grinch for teaching me about IOW. Without them we would have never had the chance to meet and share such a wonderful weekend.
Thank You again for introducing me to so many members from the IOW board over the weekend, have always enjoyed being able to put a face with a post.
Hopefully the next time our paths cross I will get to see Andrew driving a quater midget with grandpa by his side crewing for him, until then pictures of his recent first time behind the wheel of one would be great.
His little smile has always pulled me in, enjoyed getting to see pictures of your other precious grandchildren and learning more about your family.
An now it is time for me to shift gears from racing to spending time with my two precious little grandsons.
Thank You, Thank You again, enjoyed meeting you more than words can say.
The pleasure was all ours. It seems that we have known each other forever but just hadn't yet met in person. Your thoughts, prayers and encouragement during a very difficult time in our lives will never be forgotten. I am happy that we were able to say thank you in person.
I also thank Bill for giving us all an opportunity to discuss our world of racing with all on IOW. Without this medium, I wouldn't have met so many wonderful people including IndyBound.
Glad we were able to introduce you around with a number of IOW folks. Enjoy your stay in Oswego and make sure you spoil Donovan & Trevor every chance you get. By the looks of the toys you had, the boys are in for a haul.
I almost forgot to mention something. This lady has forgotten more about supermodified racing then I will ever know. Quite the learning experience just to sit and listen to her educate me on the world of supers. Thanks for sharing.
Mike
Be nice to people on the way up. You might need them on the way down. Jimmy Durante
I see there was a deliberate attempt to keep you from the bad influences of the Great Marvin Fisharelli.
Probably for the best, but we didn't get to see you or Racin Babe at The Burg!
Patti, If you don't have Jackslash.com membership yet, Between this site and it, You'll either stay pretty up to date, Or die from the Urge to get back here!.

You also Bob, you and Monica have to be the proudest grandparents I know right now. I wish BC all the best this weekend, will be cheering for him even though I have left Indy. Enjoy this special time in your life for your family!!!!
Sounds like you had the chance to spend time with some of IOW's finest members... Jill and I want to thank you as well for the phone call updates during those events Coleman competed. It meant a lot to us. Safe travels and we hope to see you again soon..

Just Joking Marv!
Saturday night was another real tough decision night. A number of quality shows and we can only attend one. As Patti mentioned, we Hoosiers are spoiled by all of the options available on a weekly basis. We would have liked to hit da Burg for the KISS show but I really wanted to see the Hall of Fame participants as well.
I didn't think that the Silver Crown race would be a big deal but I was quite surprised that it was pretty competitive. Bobby Santos showed the way while a good battle farther back in the pack produced a quality night of entertainment. I am sure that Marvelous Marv was disappointed that we didn't show.

Your welcome Pete and Jill. I agree I did get to spend time with some of IOW's finest members. Almost got to see Coleman race three nights in a row, we talked about going to the Burg and I will get there some day it just didn't happend this trip. Actually the Silver Crown race was the right choice for me, just missed not seeing all of you there.
Hope to see you soon also until then we are only a phone call or pm away from each other. An you know I am always on line following Coleman's racing, our paths will cross again I am sure of it.
