I know over the years that there have been a number of autograph sessions for Indy drivers away from the track. The Kroger just west of the track used to have an excellent one, but I think that is a thing of the past. The memorabilia show at the fairgrounds usually has a number of ex-drivers signing autographs. The only thing posted for this year so far is Bentley Warren from4:30 to 6:30 on Friday, May 25. If you can't be there at that exact time, in past years they have been really nice about having something autographed and then holding it for you until you can pick it up.

Last year I was watching the late local news and they had a feature on a big session in some mall which I believe was in the north end of Indy. It appears that wasn't the first year and that all the drivers were there. Unfortunately, I don't remember where or when. Does this ring a bell with anyone. Does anyone know of any other autograph sessions, large or small, which are happening in the next couple of weeks? Thanks for any information you may have.

The autograph session in which all of the drivers are there is held at Castleton Square Mall. I've been to it the last few years and it is usually held the Friday night before Pole Day. I don't know if that's when it will be or if they are even having it this year, but I can find out soon. I plan on heading to that mall over the weekend. I've been to this autograph session the last two years and it has been a lot of fun. I got autographed hero cards from all the drivers both years.

On Friday, May 25th at 6pm, there will be an autograph session at Castleton Square Mall featuring Mario Andretti. I know he will be there for sure. I asked the workers there if any current drivers would be there. Both of the ones I talked to didn't give me a straight answer, but did tell me that there are usually a bunch of drivers. In years past, even when they only advertised a couple drivers being there, all of the current drivers ended up showing up and signing autographs.
