Lawrenceburg Speedway will be hosting a open practice on April 7th from 10am-2pm. Pit pass $15, General Admission is free, this is a great chance to get ready for the USAC opener on the 14th.

Dave, does L-Burg still have the text option on raceday available?

We'll be there to practice....although it saddens me we won't be there to race until late summer and for only two dates.

Only dirt track that I have noticed with an open practice, I could have missed others though. But regardless, thank you for the opportunity to practice, much appreciated!

The Test 'n Tune is winding up.

Nice lazy and slightly cool sunny morning and afternoon.

12 sprint cars took part in practice including one winged 360. They are the following:

Darren Hagen #69
Mike Miller #53
Jason Soudrette #44
Drew Abel #04
Brandon Whited #15
John Race #42
Shawn Miller #14 Black colored
Justin Owen #26 Yellow
Adam Crewie (sp?} #83 blue (from Troy, Oh)
Evan Gimley (sp?) #7x white
David Applegate unnumbered white sprinter
Beau Stewart #27 winged 360

Top time was Hagen at #14.551.

Had a brief visit with Dave Rudisell. Chatted with Smith19 and caught a few minutes with Chuck Nungester who was catching a couple hours of practice before heading to Putmanville. Speaking of which I would like to apologise to Mr. Shortbus for the 'burg having such a high sprint car count on a practice day.

See you guys next week.

I was impressed at both the number of cars and fans that showed up. got to see the first three sprint sessions, Funnest to watch was the second one when Hagen off four every lap pulled wheelies one wheel at a time (At the stagger point in the front straight) EVERY SINGLE LAP. I also noted that every single lap was within a tenth!!!!!!!! Im not sure what the timing board is or I'd look it up.

Also several of the guys moving up to sprints from Mini's were much improved by the third session. Also seeing Drew Able in the Able colors and number

Off to Putnamville I went, Told Shortbus himself we were sorry and proceeded to have a great evening!.
