I want to specially thank Billy and Miranda Throckmorton as well as Mike and Nick Buschmann for brining their race cars out to Learning Time Preschool yesterday.
Each group of kids had a blast climbing into each race car and getting their pictures taken. You should have seen these kid's faces and watching both boys and girls jumping up and down waiting in line to meet Miranda and Nick and then getting them into the race cars for pictures.
As you racers know, it takes a lot of work to keep your cars clean and load everything up, finding a place to park and unloading for two hours, then load back up again. Not to mention time away from work and in Miranda's case school.
Again, the Throckmorton's and Buschmann's made these kid's day. Including my son Eddie who got a special hero card from Miranda and went all day showing off Miranda's hero card to all his friends and family.
Thanks again for your valuable time and effort. It was a very special day.

That's cool, George!
Matt did a similar day with a school locally a few years ago and it was fun for the kids and him, too! Gotta get little those fans coming to the tracks!

Sara, I know Matt over the years has done his part to be available for fans and create awareness of the sport off the track.
It is great to hear Matt is home. Being home really helps - getting rest and sleeping in his own bed, hopefully.
Sounds like he has his pain managed now, which is so important for your own mental health. It sucks when you hurt, cause it really affects your recovery and mentally it's hard to keep your head up and deal with getting up and moving around.
Hang in there!

I remember TP took his car to a christian school in Frankfort once and gave a talk and let them see the car and sit in it. He also pulled it to Spencer Indiana to a church service and spoke there too. That was cool.
