The work has started on getting the dirt track ready at Plymouth Speedway!

Click the link for pics and other info:

The track will be quite wide all around with 5' of banking in the 60' wide corners . . . great passing opportunities.

Also, check out the schedule posted on the Plymouth Speedway website www.plymouthspeedway.net

Payouts to be announced soon. More updates coming . . .

Really looking forward to this coming together. Northern IN needs a good dirt track. Without Warsaw and Avila Speedways, I doubt I would be a race fan. There is still a good fanbase in that area so I really hope this works out. I'm sure there are a lot of new fans that could be had too.

They should put dirt on Angola and get something going with Butler like Fremont & Attica do.

Any news on who will be promoting Angola this year?

Mike

Be nice to people on the way up. You might need them on the way down. Jimmy Durante

All I know is that Everidge won't be in charge next season.

From what I heard, I thought he was doing a good job. I realize the life of the promoter isn't a bundle of joy. I hope they can find someone who will do a good job and keep the place open. Since Dick is gone, I guess anything is possible.

Yep! Plymouths only 25 minutes north for me.

I thought he was doing a good job as well. He told me late in the season it was the worst year he'd ever had money-wise. It might have been his idea to give it up, I'm unsure.

Thanks. I know it was a tough year weather wise. Just one of the things promoters have absolutely no control over.
