Just anounced John Andritti replaces Jay Howard in the Roth Racing 24 for the month of May. Jay will be back in the car after Indy.

It seams like John was walking around the garage with a sponsor and a check looking for a team...........

It is great to have Indy back I just wish Marty would leave Jay in the 24 and put John in the 25

Exactly. I like John but feel bad for Jay. His dream just got bought out from under him. I hate buy-a-rides. Nature of the beast I guess.
btw....isn't the indycar.com live streaming video just the cats ass?

It is awesome it reminds me of RPM2Nite when for the month of may they did a broadcast daily from the speedway letting you know what happened that day

I am watching it off of indy500.com but I am pretty sure it is the same feed

I have to laugh some times when there are no cars on the track and Bob Jenkins is trying to come up with things to say and so he just talks about what ever they put the camera on

Last year Marty Roth was the slowest car in the field at 218.9 mph

Already today 29 cars are faster then that.....What does everyone think the minimum speed will be to make the field this year?

There are 7 cars above last years pole speed aready

i think a 221 will be a safe speed to make the field....that will eliminate most of the past years "field fillers" such as roth, milka and so on.....

and the cool thing about the www.indy500.com you can make the video full screen....i couldnt figure out how to do it on www.indyracing.com

I understand wanting to live your dream and it is his money.

I just hope that when Marty decides he cannot(should not) do it anymore that he owns cars like Dale Coyne has.

Word around the garage area earlier when I was over there was that if they got John & Marty in there is a 3rd entry that they may let Jay give it a shot in. My guess is that John and Marty will have a tough time staying in the field.
