I have some vintage fiberglass pieces that have the "spider" type cracks in them and wondered if anyone can tell me how to fix or prep them so they don't reappear after painting. thanks rc

Thanks for the reply.The cracks are fairly big.....almost like something hit from under the hood although the cloth side appears ok. I'll try and get a photo to ya. thanks, ron c. wooster,oh

spider cracks in fiberglass are almost always in the gel coat.carefully sand away the gel coat down to the glass.prime with a two part
primer and refinish.DO NOT PRIME OVER CRACKS.
