Winters Rear End Ratio Question?

I have a Winters Sprint Car rear end that I aquired with an Avenger rolling chassis. I have several sets of quick change gears, but I was wondering if anyone knows the easiest way to figure out the rear end's ring / pinion ratio? I've got to start there before I know what final ratios I can actually arrive at through the quick changes. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Scotty

Mark the axle, mark the driveshaft, turn the axle one turn, while counting the number of times the driveshaft turns, or just look at the end of the pinion, it's stamped on there, course you'll need to factor in the gear ratio you have in the QC, Bob

Ok, that sounds simple enough. There was a time when I knew that, but evidently I didn't retain the information. Thanks a lot.

Well, gearing figures are much more helpful in this instance. I'll give that a try. Thanks, friend.
