Why do they quit racing so early in the year....most tracks in Indiana run until October??? Anything going on?

i have been going to paragon since i was a little boy. the racing has always ended in august or september.

I don't get back to the Hoosier state for some real racin' nearly as often as I would like, but Paragon and Bloomington are always on the agenda. Hoping to make a few shows next year.

I think one of the main reasons some tracks shut down earlier than others is because kids are going back to school and high school football is starting back up. I know this weekend is Limaland's last race and I think Gas City is done in a couple more weeks as well. Keith has on his website that someone can rent the track during the month of September. I am surprised no one has acted on this possibility.
