I know that USAC has a drivers rule to protect the USAC brand. Does anyone know the exact details in this rule. How many nights after does it apply? What is the mile radius? Does it have to be in the same class?
Really, what I am asking is will any drivers be able to race Saturday at Belleville after the Friday night show in Nebraska?
Drivers agree to not race in any competing series event on the same day as the scheduled USAC series event (series meaning, silver crown, sprint, and midget). In addition, driver agrees not to participate in a competing event (non-USAC) within 24 hours and 200 miles of a scheduled USAC event at a track that does not conduct atleast 1 scheduled USAC event during the calender year.
Thanks for the update. Lincoln to Belleville is 122 miles. Does not look like they will pick up many drivers for Saturday night. What is the penality if you do break this rule? I understand that the top guys in the national points will not cross the line, but maybe some of the other drivers will.
I think that it is 50 driver pts and some $ ,but I am not sure how much. I do not like the rule because it really only draws loyalty from maybe your top 2 or 3 in pts. If USAC wants to keep their drivers from going elsewhere , I say they need to increase or change their purse structure. Many drivers are racing for a living , so they are going to race where the money is. For example , why would you spend 5g in tires on pavement and win maybe 1g if you do not win the event versus winning 2-3g and spend 500$ in tires on dirt? To me ,if you are not up there in pts with USAC , you are going run the other series.

You have a computer...why don't you simply go to the USAC website and get the information,,,instead of internet gosip ..i think..somebody told me ..ect
Better check your listing of how many NW Sprint and Midget drivers are actually racing for a living. Its not many and some of those who are have other jobs rebuilding shocks and stuff.

Actually finding that rule is a lot more difficult than it looks. Tons of PDFs with dozens of rules on each. Whats wrong with someone asking.
Its not easy like What time does a track start racing when it is clearly on the front page of any tracks schedual.
The rule exist, someone was kind enough to post it. Now everyone knows
