Finally made it to a sprint car race. It was pretty good. I have not been to Waynesfield since the new and improved 6 division series. THey did a good job of keeping the show moving but there was room for improvement. THey seemed like they waited too long between some races. It helps when you have short fields in stocks, trucks and compacts where there is only two heats each. I don't understand two heats when there were only 10 compacts. I also do not like those stock car things. THey are those hybrid late model-street stock things. THey look like some really bad kit car.

THe fireworks in the distance at Indian Lake was a nice touch for the sprint car feature.

Yes. 2heats of trucks, 3 mini sprints, 2compacts, 3sprints, ? Modifieds, and ?stocks. I see 5 car heats in a 10 car field pointless. Run em all together, call it a dash and set feature line up by finish but add inversion draw.

Well, anyone who didn't go to WRP last night missed a tough sprint car feature!

Every week has great races, guys coming from 10th, 8th, etc, for the win. Last night Matt Westfall had to run the piss out of the Simon 22 to catch Dustin Smith in the Conway 37.

The top 4 finishers...Matt Westfall, Dustin Smith, Luke Hall, and Justin Grant were -flying- around the VERY TOP of WRP..If you didn't like what you saw last night in the sprinter feature, then you don't like non wing sprints.
