Perhaps we should change Kyle Larson's nickname from "NorCal Ninja" to "Mr. First Time Fast Time". First time at LOR (ORP, IRP, QXZ??) in a sprint, fast time. First time at LOR in a midget, fast time. First time at Milwaukee in a Silver Crown car, fast time. Were these also his first times on pavement in those cars? Has he set fast time his first time at a track/in a particular kind of car anywhere else? And how about Dillon Welch setting fast time in the midgets. Congratulations to both of these fine young (but obviously not slow) drivers.

You've got to be kidding me. You're actually bashing Jimmy Kite for qualifying within a second of all but the top two qualifiers, on a mile track, driving for a lower budget team, not traditionally known as one of the faster Silver Crown teams? On top of that, it's a deal that these guys just put together in the 11th hour.

I didn't look at it like that. I guess he did pretty good, didn't he? I still wonder how good Scheckter would be.

You gotta be kidding me. Im not a Jimmy Kite fan, but give the guy a little time to shake off the rust. First time back in a long time driving for a team that doesn't have a giant budget. Give the little guy a break! Once again uglyness rears its head on IOW. A simple post reporting qualifying times and congratulating new comers for impressive runs turns into an opportunity to bash a driver and spread even more negativity on an already negative site...
