A friend of mine has a 1982 Gambler Champ Dirt Car. He also has a 1986 Gambler 'NCRA' 100" wb Champ Dirt car. The USAC car has been wrecked in the past, so a rebuild is in order.

The issue- We know the cars had to be different since the NCRA version was really just a stretched sprinter design.

Where in the world would we find blueprints, Tommy Sanders, Floyd Bailey or anybody else who would know?

I really don't remember any Gambler Dirt cars, do you?

I really could use some help on this one.

If memory serves me correctly I think Danny Smith was in the Gambler "house" car and won at Eldora in 1981 or 82. I remember this race being in April on a Sunday afternoon the day after Dave Peperak won the Wide World of Sports televised USAC sprint car race. I think the Champ car race was a 60 lap race.

There were several Gambler dirt cars if my memory is correct.

Danny Smith drove one for SPurlock.
He drove another for Galen (as did Hood)

Vogler had one with Blackie Fortune (the Coors Light car)

Sheldon drove on for Bill Kirtley?

Danny Smith drove the Gambler house sprintcar for Spurlok in 1980 I believe, I don't think he ever drove a champ car for Gambler.

Yes he did. Eldora, 1982, won I bellieve
Springfield, MAy 1982. Not sure it appeared with Danny after that

Silver Crown winner...April 25, 1982...Danny Smith was in the Gambler House Dirt Champ Car.

Steve Butler drove a Gambler Silver Crown car for Kenny Jerrett from Elwood, Indiana. They switched to OZZ cars (silver crown) after that. Steve also drove my Gambler sprint cars from 85 to 89....Phil Poor
