Does anyone know if a rear live axle was ever made with no offset/same length both sides? I'm looking for one if there is.

Don't really understand what you are thinking, but you could use, for instance, a 44-1, and use the spacers to "center" the rear in the chassis. If you're talking a tapered hub axle, it would be easy enough to have the long side recut, to have it "centered"! Centering the rear end is mostly a matter of putting it in the center, and using different offset wheels. Now I've forgot what the question was, and why you asked! Bob

i had a Halibrand that was 48" with no offset. It was a an old style, non shifter rear end. It was an open tube splined axle, with 6 pin hubs.Bob B.
