Weather did not last very long but packed a punch. Hope everyone is OK.

We had a lot of wind and rain, power out all over town, 26 closed west of Kokomo and east of town due to trees and poles down.

High winds blew over a truck camper and tore down about 100 yards of fence where I work on the south side of Indy. No other damage here, but man that was a blow.

We appear to be good in Springfield. Hard but very short rain. However, we don't have local National Weather Service radar because lightening knocked out the radar in Lincoln Sunday night. What are the odds?

Hope no one got hurt over there.

Weather moving in to Cincy area now, moving the cooler inside so I should be alright.

We just heard the air raid sirens over in the Cincinnati Tri-County area around 11:45. Channel 9 said this thing was moving so fast that the National Weather Service issued a tornato warning just for precautionary purposes.

Almost a tenth of an inch of rain here in Paso Robles - many of the vineyards say it could affect the Zinfandel harvest. This would be devastating news for the '10 vintage, lets keep our fingers crossed....

We still have a few beefsteak "tornados" in the fridge if you're interested.

High straight line winds and sideways rain for about 10 minutes here. If there can be an up side to potential severe weather, it is for me, getting to watch weathergals Randi Rico and Valerie Abati on WLW-T for an hour or more.

Hope everyone emerged unscathed.
