Has the two day race that was scheduled for October 8th and 9th been cancelled?

According to the ASCT website, the schedule doesn't include those dates. I suppose that they were removed prior to the last two shows at Moler and KC being cancelled.

However, the midget schedule still shows those dates on it. The ASCT & AMCT have been rather quite on the IOW board lately. The latest fiasco at LaSalle for sure didn't help their cause.

Maybe John, Big Jim or JT can issue a statement one way or the other. If not, car owners/drivers, any info?

I'm still waiting on my $400 from Montpelier.........

I called the track a few weeks ago as this race isn't on their schedule. They said they never scheduled anything in Oct.....
It's too bad. I had high hopes for the midget series.....

With POWRi @ Belle Claire, Oct. 9, they may not have had many midgets anyway, could be wrong though.

There is no show for ASCT OR AMCT Oct 8th and 9th at Flora. It has been off the schedule since June. If the web guy did not remove it, I'm sorry. I tried to put together a nice schedule for this season and unfortunately nothing has gone as planned due to various reasons and circumstances that were out of our control.

I am truly sorry to all of our competitors in the Sprint Car and Midgets who are disappointed with how things went or are still owed money. If I had it to give I would do it. My car owners and I got shorted at certain races just like everyone else. It was unfortunate but I got over it and moved on in the hopes it could turn around. There were also certain races when we got paid really well.

I still hope the American Sprint Car Tour has a future in 2011 and hopefully all the growing pains are out of the way.

I appreciate all the support from all the drivers and owners that came to our shows and hope for better things in 2011. I also appreciate the support of my car owners and the dedication they had all season long!!
