Just to clarify the statement from USAC...T-Mez did not GO to post race inspection. Their statement implies something was illegal about the car which is not the case

If you don't go to inspection then you FAIL inspection so therefore he failed inspection. Nothing implied just a statement of fact that he was disqualified for failing inspection. Question is why didn't he go? I'm sure he knows the procedures by now for USAC.......

Maybe because he wanted to get back to his sprint car ride and get on the track for that feature.........

Nice run in both features last night T-Mez

Looked like he was going to get in his sprint car. I would think that is why he also didnt stay on the track to get his interview for finishing 2nd.

It was an honest mistake. I came into my pit area jumped out of the midget and jumped in the sprint car. My crew came back and pushed the car to tech, and USAC was going to let us scale it with no fuel but 2 of the point racers protested.

I've never ran in the top 3 before at a USAC show, so I just zoned it and was then in sprint car mode.

I apologize to Mark b/c that was our best run ever at a USAC show. The #2 car was on kill. They can take it away on a technicality, but we ran 2nd fair and square. Thanks to Mark for this opportunity.

See you all at Putnamville.
