As you can see I've switched the placement for the banner ads. My question is... Do you like the new placement?

Vote yes to keep the new placement on the side.
Vote no to move them back towards the top.

As a fan I'm not really affected, but I voted "Yes" because I think the placement on the side may result in the ads being more noticeable and therefore more likely to be viewed......but then, what the heck do I know.

Marv, I am trying to improve visibility for the companies that are advertising... I think it may help. I am just curious to hear what everyone thinks. This poll is very simple... Majority rules. this decision is up to everyone here.

I agree with Marv. I think the new placement gives better visibility to your advertisers with no negative impact on viewers.

I say do whatever it takes to keep this site going. The only negative I see is that many viewers may not go further down than the first block of posts because the others are, or may be aging posts that have not had action lately. Those advertisers might not get as much exposure as previously.

The ads are always rotating locations... they will never be on the bottom only. Thanks for the input!

I`m on here 15-20 times a day.Do whatever you have to do to keep it going like it is.Either way I`ll continue to check it out 20 times a day.It`s the best site on the internet. Thank`s for all you do for us humble fans. Bill ,you are really a great person to have done this for us.

I think having them down the side will allow the audience to see them more often and maybe look over to the left rather than having them all bunched up at the top. As soon as I find a thread I want to read I scroll down as soon as I can to start reading. Now with them on the left I glance over to see who it is. So strategically, I think it is a good move.
