This is straight from the POWRi entry form for Saturday. Qualifying will lock in the fastest 9 or first three rows. There will be 2 10 lap qualifying races to determine the line up for the balance of the 33 car field.

I like that format. There's incentive to qualify fast and get locked into the first three rows. But, if you slip up in qualifying, all is not lost. Those drivers will still have a chance to race their way into a decent starting position. Plus, it will give us two more races, that every position means something.

And with 11 rows of three on the start, from the wave lap till about lap five or so will just be total bedlam!! Especially on this racing surface.

This will be my first Hut 100, never got to make it to Terre Haute much when I was younger. If the start of this race is anything like the start of the little 500 that will be worth the price of admission.

I've been to many Hut 100 shows over the years from THAT to the Indy Mile, to LPS and the 'burg and everywhere in between.

I don't get to go to races much any more. I've documented the reasons on here before. I've been OK with it, being able to shake off the disappointment. But not seeing this show really hurts.

I am envious of all you fans being there Saturday. This will be one great event.

This may sound like a dumb question, but is Haubstadt on Eastern or Central time?
