And we would like to announce the involvement of D'Arcy Motors to our roster:


United Auto Midget Racing Association is pleased to bring you the D'Arcy GMC Shootout.
On August 21st UMARA National midgets will go head to head in a 25 lap Shootout, similar to NASCAR’s Bud Shootout.
This starting field will consist of 12 Feature Winners, Fast Qualifiers, and Past Champions shooting it out for the top prize.
The night before the event a luck of the draw for starting positions will be held at Darcy Pontiac-Buick-GMC in Joliet, as part of their monthly car show.
"This is a perfect way for us to be involved with UMARA" said Terry D'Arcy "We enjoy watching the races at Grundy County Speedway in Morris Illinois and this is a way for us to back involved with tomorrows racing stars. We want to make the purse big enough so that it will become something that the drivers will fight for to get into the event"
Further details and rules will emerge at the start of the season.
