East Bay Rained Out 2/9

USAC Officials have canceled tonight's program from East Bay Raceway Park in Tampa, Florida. The show will not be made up.

RACECASTLIVE.com is looking into alternate programming and/or a refund program for those that purchased the Full Event package. Details will be released later.

Is it because of low attendance in the grandstands? East Bay normally will make up the race the next day.

I would venture to guess no. They had an AWESOME crowd last night.

They already have a race for tomorrow . It's not TSS .

What rain? I just looked at the Tampa area radar and there's no rain in sight?

And usually the water drains pretty quick in FL, unless they are at high tide. But they called the show at two in the afternoon?

Very glad I didn't opt to go down there.

It was pretty wet there yesterday. East Bay is pretty much always on the verge of being a quagmire anyway. The constant rain today surely has things a real mess out there. I didn't bother going, but I can't imagine it being anywhere near raceable. Just hope things are good and racey for tomorrow...
