For all you HURRYIN' HANK LOWER fans -- Hank seriously considered retiring after last year's very successful season, (16 starts -- 8 top-three finishes including two wins) but has recently chosen to NOT RETIRE!

It was never a case of Hank believing it was "time" to retire -- hardly! It was simply a matter of economics. Fan support remains extremely strong -- however, like all racing teams in this economy, funds are tight.

Here's the great news -- Hank wants to run the 2010 Must-See Racing Extreme Sprints Series and is preparing a top-notch entry for the events. He honestly believes there is economic support available for his racing team and wants to reach out to his fans.

Here is a picture of Hank's MSR win last year at Anderson Speedway.

Hank wants to keep you up on his 2010 plans -- please send your words of encouragement and support to: HurryinHankLower@gmail.com and we'll let you know how you can support Hank in his endeavor to win more Must-See Racing events this coming summer! Thank you!

Is Hank gonna be 72 this year?

Yep -- 72 years young! And excited about going racing as any other year of his long career. With some additional financial support Hank will be able to field an entry second-to-none. We already know the driver is a proven entity -- now all that's left is fielding a car and support system that is worthy of Hank's legendary talent. Send us a message so we can let you know how you can support Hank's 2010 race team. Thanks!

I missed seeing his MSR at Anderson last May. So it was good to see it on mustseeracing.com. But it was more special to be at Dells Raceway Park to call THAT win with HOSS!

Having Hank on board for 2010 is great news! Hank Lower IS personality and a big plus for the tv coverage this series has in place.

Go 37!!!

Does his ($5,000.00) track record still stand for WINGED 410 SPRINTS at Winchester??

Best of luck to "Hurryin'" Hank. I moved from Michigan to California in 1974 and Hank was one of the heroes back then.

Hey -- thanks to you all for your kind words about Hank. I'll be sure to pass your comments on to him, or better yet -- email him directly at HurryinHankLower@gmail.com .

No -- Hank no longer holds the track record at Winchester, but he did for four years. He set it (13.9 seconds) in 2000 at the age of 62 and held it for FOUR years. The current track record, 13.615, was set just this past fall by Jeff Bloom at a HOSS event where Hank was third fastest qualifier, but with a larger wing. This year all wings, via new rules, will be the same, so the playing field will be level. Taking nothing away from Jeff -- he's a great competitor!

Hank is now on FACEBOOK -- be the first to become a fan! You'll find the team listed under HANK LOWER RACING, INC.
