Every year I make a few calls, and recive calls expressing interest in driving at Fort Wayne. I know it is late notice, but Brian Gerster is open to running Fort Wayne if there is a car out there for him.
I called Jac Haudenschild, who along with Gerster..would be very good at Fort Wayne expressed interest. His son Sheldon is an up and coming sprint car driver and is also an Arena Cross specialist. He would be open for a 600 or midget ride. If we could get a ride for both, it would be great. The problem is...there are not that many open cars. There is information on both here: http://www.haudenschildracing.com/ I usually keep these items to myself..but this time I decided to post them publicly to see if there may be any car owners out there willing to get cars out of storage to get involved at Fort Wayne. There are other drivers who have inquired about it. There are always more interested drivers than cars to go around. I see Zach Daum posted his interest. If there are any interested owners out there, send me a personal message. Best, Tony Barhorst www.rumbleseries.com FOLLOW US ON FACEBOOK- http://www.facebook.com/business/das...s/177852124299 |

Tony, You can throw my name in the hat too! I have been racing now for 16 years. Wish I could have run at the Speedrome with your deal this year. I miss running there. I've been racing Midgets since 1998 and Sprint Cars off and on since 2001. I have been successful indoors in midgets, kenyon cars, and T.Q. Midgets at Toledo, The Hoosier Dome, and Fargo,ND to name a few.
Anyone interested can check out my website at www.jtstapp.com.or PM me on here and I will get ahold of you. Thanks, J.T. Stapp ![]() |
