Just wondering if it was too early for Kokomo to look at the forecast for this weekend and move Friday's portion of the Klash to Sunday. It sure looks like it would make sense for fans and drivers alike. What does everyone else think?? I love racing but 50% chance of rain/snow on Friday with low 40's in the day and low 30's at night. Sunday is sunny and mid 50's///////

I agree and hope that they do this. Thanks for the post.

I know we do not count but Sunday is not good for us due to already having plans plus I have to work.

Lookin pretty grim isnt it, still early but I have a hard time seeing the temp forecast rising 10 degrees. Not much better for the DTWC at the burg Saturday either. I do remember though when they ran the sprint cars on Sunday afternoon several years ago at the klash

Just speaking for myself, I hope they run it Friday. That was the plan so I hope they stick to it if possible. I’ve checked several places and most of them have said a 30% chance of rain…and it sounds like it will be more dry than wet (we do know how forecasts go though). I agree it will be cold, but hey it’s one night, I can deal with it. Unless they run the whole show Sunday during the day (which usually isn't all that great even if it's not hot), Sunday night will be cold too. Other than there being less of a chance of rain Sunday, both nights look the same to me. There is supposed to be more sun Sunday so that would help until it goes down, but it's still going to be cool.

Friday Night, Oct 16
Low: 35 °F
Low clouds and chilly

Sunday Night, Oct 18
Low: 38 °F
Clear

I agree to a point. However with rain forcast for today, tonight, tomorrow, tomorrow night, and friday it doesn't look as good as a whole dry sat, and then sunny sunday. My point. I just hope we get to race this weekend. As for me if they try on Friday I will not be coming all the way from Illinois. If they go with Sunday we will be there with probably two cars. Wait and see......

They race in the daylight all summer and the racing is 2nd to none! I wouldn't base my decision on one not so good race one time in the last 3 years. Last race until 2010, fri. or sun. I'll be there!
