Thanks to you, D.O., for having the show. Thanks also to Greg Staab for his hard work and openness about what is going on. This might be your most listened to show of the year.:applaud::thumb:

Not all owners were invited. A friend of mine has fielded silvercrown cars for the last 7 - 8 years, ran every year, and did not get invited. No owner of a tank, but an owner of dirt and the former pavement car.

Seems like the BS continues.

Does your "friend" own a phone or can he/she get on the internet...Everyone on here seemed to know there was a meeting. All it takes is a phone call to USAC to see what's up. Do you also want them to wipe?

Just goes to show, you can't please everyone.

I never said I was...If you wanted to go then you should of called USAC. If they say NO! then you have a beef. Otherwise, complaining after the fact is childish.

All I was saying is that it was common knowledge on this site that there was a meeting!

Why should an owner have to monitor a totally-unrelated Message Board to find out about the goings-on of a club for which they are a member? There is nothing on www.usacracing.com about a meeting, and there was no phone call or a letter. But he tells me that he received his Membership Renewal asking for the $500 renewal fee promptly in the mail dated 11/07/07 Mailed From 46224 using non-profit pre-sorted standard mail rate of 20 cents.

Most owners have businesses that they need to run, and they don't take the time to "monitor" message boards for information.

USAC14, I heard that the company you work for is handing our Christmas bonuses this year. They posted it on a badminton message board. If you don't claim it by tomorrow, you lose it.

He only heard about it "through the grapevine" at around 10:00 pm Sunday night -- no time to call USAC to find out what's up or make arrangements to attend a meeting on Monday.
