On Saturday September 19th the Vincennes University Midwest TQ Racing League will make their final appearance of the season at the Twin Cities Raceway Park for the Big Dawg 100. Classes scheduled to compete along with the VUMTQRL include the MMSA mini sprints, modifieds, super stocks and pure stocks.

Three races were originally scheduled at the high banked 3/8 mile oval with Mother Nature claiming victory on May 9th. On June 20th Lawrenceburg's Jason Willis passed Tate Martz on the final lap scoring his second career VUMTQRL win. Rounding out the top five were Brett Hankins, Kyle Lux and Kenny Byrge.

Schedule of Events
Pit Gate Opens - 3:00 pm
Grandstand Opens - 4:00 pm
Hot Laps - 6:00 pm

General Admission - $15 adults
Pit Pass - $35

Due to the increased price of admission the payout will be bumped up $25 per car. The feature will now pay $425 to win and $125 to start.

With only two races remaining on the VUMTQRL schedule after Saturday (Sept. 26th at the Decatur Co. Fairgrounds in Greensburg and Oct. 2nd at the Lawrenceburg Speedway) drivers are seeking to gain as many points as possible to either improve their position, or secure their place in the season standings. The top 15 owners and drivers will be honored at the VUMTQRL banquet to be held on October 24th at the Pavilion at the Brickyard Crossing at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

If this is a roll call, the 29m Yamaha will be there, we gotta turn our luck around someway, soon! A little bad luck goes a long way. and a lot of it, even further. Bob

I got a feeling, we'll draw the short straw, and get the privilige of turning off the lights, and locking up, when we leave! Hope I get surprised, it would be nice, if they'd give the top attraction, plenty of time to prepare their cars for the 100 lapper, and run the TopDawg last. Makes sense to me! Bob

Congratulations Tate Martz, Jason Willis, & Tad Cheek. Thanks to all our fans, car owners, and officials.

Thanks to Mason and the twin cities folks for a nice race track.

See you next week at Greensburg, do not forget about the pitch in.
