Why would tommy run the tractor`s so much when he knew it was going to rain.
I know he could have gotten all the heats in if it had not been almost 45 minutes of green going sround & i also know that it was not 7:30 & race time yet.
The pa guy said that tommy was going to move this show right along.45 minutes of tractor`s going in circles does not ( in my opinion keep the show moving along )
now that that is off my chest i will again drive over a 100 miles to make this rain check good.
Not bashing tss but we had to much green for tonight.
Now you can all bash away.

Judging from the car count and lack of fans attending, everyone else knew it wasn't gonna happen either.

How about we all plan a race on the same night so every track has 10 sprints.. Sounds like one hell of a plan to me!!!!!!!

I know I did a little complaining about the tractor show in another post, but after drying off and thinking about it alittle, I'm glad they didn't try to hurry it up and get the heats in. Now I can use the rain check for another night in September.

They put in a lot of effort at haubstadt to make things right, has for the tractor show they can turn that track in 20 minutes not bad at all works out great for intermission and they always start at the scheduled time of 7:30 and run things pretty quick.Live where I do and see what type of crappy tracks in this area we have that is why I have no problem driving the 350 mile roundtrip to this track for racing for over 23 years now nothing but a class track operation.

So how many cars are needed for a "good show"? Yeah we only had 23 sprint cars in the pits, but they were 23 pretty damn good sprint cars. 4 previous MSCS championships were were represented, 3 USAC championships were represented, 5 KISS championships were represented, and 4 track championships were represented. Not to shabby if you ask me from 23 drivers!!!!

Wasn't there a midget race you were in that only had 16 cars?? That Indiana track didn't cancel due to car count because they wanted to give the drivers and fans a chance at seeing some good racing. And it was a good feature. Yes i know weather wasn't an issue that day but the car count you are referring to was.

Everyone that has been to Tri-State Speedway and knows The Helfrich family knows they will do everything within their powers to get the show in as advertised.

Wow. After much editing all I will say is Kent 5 I knew what you meant as I was one that, due to the weather forecast, did not make the short trip from my home.
