Hornish to Appear at 13th Annual Evening for Race Fans

The Celina-Mercer County Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce 2006 Indianapolis 500 Winner and three-time Indy Racing League Champion Sam Hornish, Jr. will be the featured guest at their 13th Annual Evening for Race Fans. Other racing personalities include Dirt Late Model Standout, Jeep Van Wormer and 2006 Eldora Stock Car Champion, Mike Dirksen. Also scheduled to attend are Earl Baltes and long time racer, Chick Hale. The event will take place on Friday, November 23rd at Romer’s Catering and Banquet Facility in St. Henry, Ohio.

The program will also include other racing personalities and Mike King of the Indy Radio Network will serve as master of ceremonies.

The doors will open at 5:00 PM and the evening will include an autograph session, a buffet style dinner, interviews with Sam Hornish Jr., Jeep Van Wormer and Mike Dirksen and a memorabilia auction.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Celina-Mercer County Chamber of Commerce and State of the Heart Home Health and Hospice.

I've went to the last three events and they're a really good time. The foods great, you'll hear some great stories and lot's of real good merchandise auctioned off for a good cause. If you've never been to one of these events and are in the area, try to make it. You'll enjoy yourself. :thumb::thumb:
