The MMSA "Winged Warrior Tour" had an excellent fri. nite car count of 21 cars at the Ripley Co. Fairground 1/4 mi. dirt oval, Collin Ambrose crossed the finish line first, followed by Sam Ashworth in his best finsh of the year with the MMSA, Lynn Ambrose was third, Andy Bradley fourth and Lynsey Tilton was fifth with one of her best finishes of the season, Heat winners were Collin Ambrose, Scott Bradley and Lynsey Tilton, Hard charger was split between
Kenny Burr and Alex Shipman, both advancing six spots, JD Parker took the top 600 bonus.
MMSA members and other area mini sprint racers can now prepare for a big three race week starting wed. July 15, at Columbus, IN for the Bartholomew Co Fair, The MMSA will be the feature event with a special format, two hot lap sessions, qualifing by lap time, fast dash, front stretch driver introduction for the "A" main, a lot of track time and exposure (autograph session) for the drivers & crews, all of this ,plus the County Fair atmosphere.
As Billy Mays (no relation) used to say, "But wait there's more"
Fri. July 17th the MMSA will be the support class for the USAC sprints "Speed week" event at Bloomington on the famous 1/4 mi. RED CLAY, area mini sprint racers have waited several years for this opportunity,Thanks to promoter Mike Miles, you don't want to miss this one.
We finsh the week at Twin Cities Raceway on sat. July 18th a track that has been very good for the MMSA, I urge all MMSA members to continue to support this track and promoter Mason Fleetwood.
More details will be posted here and on the MMSA website concerning these events.

Congrats for a fine job by all the drivers. I enjoyed cheering on my Bell drivers in between our races. I hope MMSA and SCORA can do more companion races. The TQ's rocked also!
