So now the questions begin, and soon we'll all know the answers on what the plan is for VCS scheduling wise and class wise. I'm curious if sprints will continue to be a class there? If not, then what will be done with the track championship points that the sprint drivers have already earned? What about the points fund(the new sprint chassis/body, and pit passes for the winning driver for all of 2010?)

So many different things could happen here. Is there a chance that VCS will move to late Sunday afternoons? Possibly a UMP license in the works? Or perhaps to Friday nights? What about leaving it a Saturday night track and going straight all tin with no sprints? WOW. The possibilities are nearly endless here. There's certainly a bunch of pros and cons to every option. One thing I do know is the the Spiker team loves racing and will do what is best for both tracks. Joe Spiker doesn't want his name on anything that impacts him negatively. From what I've seen he's truly a class act. Is he perfect? No. Who is? But he's learning and again doing the very best that he can to keep the racers and the fans happy. He is definitely willing to listen.

The GRP sprint car has been on display at the track in past weeks so it is in place.

And just how successful has VCS been when operated as a tin-tops only venue? Can you say, "not"?
