OT-Comcast email?

Why is it, when something says"just click here" It's not an easy fix? Overnight, Comcast decided to help their customers, by changing the email port, on their server, according to the email from them, all you needed to do, was "click here", for a quick fix! So far, I've clicked on every damn place I could find to click, and I still got the same problem, I can receive, but I can't send, just wondered if anyone else had this issue, and the "HOT TOPIC" is wearin me out.
