US ARMY RECRUITERS NIGHT AT BLOOMINGTON SPEEDWAY



Bloomington, IN- April 29, 2009- This Friday Night at the Bloomington Speedway will feature racing action with the Safety-Kleen Sprint Cars paying $1,400 to win, O'Neal Wood Products UMP Modifieds paying $600 to win, and Tire and Wheel Center Super Stocks paying $500 to win. On hand for the festivites will be the Recruiters from the United States Army, who will have giveaways and activities for the fans.



In previous action, Levi Jones of Olney, IL picked up the $3,000 prize in the Spring Clash last Friday, along with an extra $2,460 in lap money in the Safety-Kleen Sprint Car Division. Martinsville, IN native Ryan Thomas took home the O'Neal Wood Products UMP Modified feature event, and in a three wide finish in the Tire and Wheel Center UMP Super Stocks, Troy Clark of North Vernon nipped Clayton Perry and Alan Magner at the line for the win.



Pit Gates open at 4:30 p.m., Grandstands 5:30 p.m., Hot Laps 6:30 p.m., Racing at 7:30 p.m. Kids 12 & Under FREE general admission with paid adult, General Admission $12, Pit Admission $25.
