Why do not the promoters of I69 Speedway go to Bloomington or Lawrencebug and learn how to prepare a track for a nights worth of racing.

Friday night was a joke. Two hours of track prep. and maybe an hour or so of racing is not my idea of a fun evening.

Gas City will get one more chance when I go there for Midget Week, if they screw up then, I am done with them. There are too many other tracks that get track prep. right to put up with I69 Dust City.

It was the first race of the year. Under a new promoter. The feature was great! I think you just like being miserable.

First off the track at Gas City has been a dust bowl for a long time. A new operator has done nothing to improve the track.

As for as Bloomington goes, sure it does sometimes take rubber, but after a whole night of racing with no additional track prep.

Let me guess, you are the same people that put your blankets down for the year on the top row and believe Dust City can do no wrong.

You should have been at The Burg. Saturday night and seen what a great track looks like.

I was not at Gas City this week, so I don't know about the conditions first hand, I heard that they had to work on it during the program.

I can share first hand knowledge that last year I saw two shows at Gas City. The track was great both times. It was smooth and not dusty. One of the two nights I remember marveling at how tacky the track was AFTER the features.

Them only complaint I've got about Friday night at Gas City is that I wasn't able to be there.

Agree about Dick bringing the track back at GC, it was really racy for the feature. You arent at Bloomington enough to cast aspersions about the quality of the surface there Aero.

Only had to pack the top a couple of times. I went to both shows and I have no complaints about either. I thought the delay was well worth the wait. Of course some people were probably too miserable to realize what they saw. I wonder if some of the people who complained about Manzanita will find something else to complain about. I would pay again to see the same show at both tracks.
