Congrats to Mike Hess on picking up the opening night win at Morgan County. Although the sprint turnout perhaps was a tad lower than we'd like to see, the track was very racy in the heats. We also had a very deep invert for the heats, which helped the sprints put on a good show for the fans. Had fast qualifier Mitch Wissmiller not had a right rear tire work itself off the beadlock early in the feature, I think we would've had a heck of a duel for the feature win.

We also had a very nice turnout of modifieds. (nearly 30) The spectator turnout was pretty respectable, as well. All in all, thanks in part to Mother Nature finally giving us a break, we had a great night of racing.
