USAC @ Anderson postponed

ANDERSON, Ind. (April 4, 2009) – Officials from Anderson Speedway and the United States Auto Club have mutually agreed to postpone the USAC Mopar National Midget Series event that was scheduled on Sunday, April 5.

The postponement is due to a nearly 100 percent chance of rain showers on Sunday that is forecasted by the National Weather Service.

The first part of next week details about a rescheduled date are expected for the USAC Mopar National Midget Series at Anderson Speedway.

Anderson Speedway will be in action on Saturday Night, April 4 with the Street Stocks, Figure 8, ThunderCars and Front Wheel Drive Oval divisions beginning their 2009 seasons. Come and be part of Spirit night at Anderson Speedway. Come dressed up, painted face, and bring your voice to participate in Anderson Speedway’s Craziest Fan Contest and Best Sign contest. On Saturday, April 4, spectator gates open at 4 p.m. with the racing beginning at 7. Admission is $10 for adults and $4 for kids ages 6-12. Children five and under get in free.
