check this one out,SMRS:applaud: USAC:nonwingfan: had a bunch of cars at Cowtown. Maybe this could be a great deal for the car owners and drivers from both series?

Don't you figure this has something to do with the Emmett Hahn's new midget project in the heartland?

If you would bother to educate yourself, you wouldn't post off topic nonsense like this. These two series are at the opposite ends of the midget spectrum.

Yeah, but we have to acknowledge that it was kind of the SMRS to reach down to USAC like that and help them out.(Kidding)

C'mon. If anybody besides Don would've said that line, people would be laughing. That's a funny line.

To be fair to SMRS, that series has steadily grown over the last few years and has provided Midget Racing in areas that wouldn't see it otherwise. I think they have been trying very hard.

I think P.Sullivan has hit it on the head as far as why they did that. A little Strategic positioning. That said; USAC is now dealing with a very well run and very well respected group. This will be a test for them. I think the only weak link to their midget program will be the delivery on engines. Nothing personal Keith, but you will have to prove yourself able to keep up after the Focus deal. This is your chance to prove you weren't the fall-guy.

I have heard that $1200 to win and $200 to start for ASCS Midgets. Not bad.
