That probably kept him from breaking his neck.

I don't follow ya here Joe Kidd?

Flip didn't look that bad to me, just regular ole barrel roll with 1 hit on the tail tank. Maybe it was coming down on concrete instead of dirt that made it worse? I couldn't tell from the video. Heard another guy got seriously hurt out there, anybody know he was or how he's doing?

Warren and Robbie I don't think this would have mattered in this situation. The T3(thoracic) vertebrae is in the middle of the back. The head and neck restraints are made to protect the cervical vertebrae

Disclaimer; I'm no expert on this and I didn't stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night.

I talked with Tim on Friday and all I know is that he was not wearing a Head and Neck device. I did not try to imply anything else in my post except that because I am not an expert either.. He has signed up with STIDA for the 09 season and is looking forward to getting back in the seat... He still has a few months in the brace he is in but things look really well for him....

it also did not help that he landed with no right rear wheel on the car, so there was no cushion for the impact when he landed on the frame of the car...

Robbie didn't think you were implying anything and I was just pointing out that all vertebrae are not in the neck. I think your company provides a great service for the racing community

Ok , thanks dwayne didn't know it was low in the back. I'd say that not much would have helped then. Don,t ya think there ought to be some sort of training or instruction on how to wear any device? Good job mac i didn't do enough home work.
