Anyone have a realistic idea of potential car count for the race Saturday?

Winchester got 19 for their crown race. I would guess that would be the top end. Been a long while since a pavement race for Silver Crown drew 20 or more.

18 at IRP last month so my guess is 19 and usually 3 or 4 don't make the start so probably about a 15 car starting field. 14 cars hauled out to Kansas to race on the dirt. Time has passed this series by.

Surprising that Bobby Santos is not on the entry list.

This will make some folks mad. When KO, Nodramazone, and myself were solving problems with the kind of racing we enjoy, this series was a big part of the conversation. Bottom line is pavement needs to go away, for the overall health of the series. Don’t have time to detail our ideas now but will try to get back later. Just note that this is from 3 longtime fans

Car count was about what I expected. Silver crown as a whole looks sad at best. I agree Pavement should go. I am not sure where dirt goes. Besides the miles, TH and Eldora, I am not sure where you run them and get attendance.

USAC seems to have left silver crown and really the midgets to wither and die
