Pretty solid debut. Qualified 13th out of 27 cars. He has to run the B to transfer. Finished 13th in the 40 lap feature. Gained 8 positions. I watched on Flo, looked solid every time the cameras were on him. The Flo guys did a very god job giving the Chili Bowl and USAC love. It was nice they actually tried to build him up, rather than just mentioning his name. Something most other series need to take notes on.

Thought Logan did a great job last night. Think running the semi feature was actually good for him, giving him more laps on the track. Gained great spots in the feature. As you mentioned, James Essex was very complimentary of Logan's skills and past wins. He mentioned USAC every time he talked about Logan. James is one of the best. Eagle Raceway looked like the perfect track in terms of size and banking! Even the IMCA street stocks were entertaining. Sure like to see Eagle some day.

21st to 15th Had to pass 1 or 2 cars to make it out of the B. Then had to defend the position. More USAC love last night. I really like this crossover stuff. I do agree him running the B main is helping with track time. Both events were heavy tracks. Really not much passing in heat races either night. |
