Say what you want, But I've not seen D2s or badgers pull full straight wheelies. Perhaps as it should be because what we have now is a hundred thousand dollar Midget.

Hear the same thing when USAC goes into Pennsylvania. Briggs did them proud. He’s not quite Johnny Thomson or Bob Marshman but a deserving winner none the less.

I have driven D2, Badger and USAC legal cars. I never did a wheelie in a D2 car. I have both done and seen wheelies in both Badger and USAC cars. At the last MARA race in Lincoln, I was watching them do wheelies down the front stretch early in the night. Like I mentioned in a previous post. There is a major misconception around the difference in power between a Badger and USAC legal midget engines. The difference is a lot closer than people give credit for.
The difference in power between D2 & Badger is far wider than the difference in power between Badger and USAC.

It is two different features, per day. The two I saw on Monday last year, were both great.
