Oh yeah! We got to the car just as the worst of it started. Blinding, sideways torrential rain, high winds and hail. As we left the area we saw lots of limbs as well as several downed trees. Saw a picture later that showed part of the track with standing water. A communication tower collapsed from the wind and fell on police HQ. So yeah, they got hammered.
