Nice to see ASCS allowing aluminum blocks, GLSS is joining them too, so I would
expect all other 360 groups to fall in line. So you can add 3-4,000 to a 360 bill.
What am I missing when 360 rules were supposed to help keep costs under control?
My thought pricing local racers that WORK and RACE write out of wanting to keep trying
to compete, eventually these great ideas will have an effect on car counts all over the country,
Not too exciting to visit tracks with 10-12 cars for the night. Hope I’m wrong, history has shown
needlessly out of control costs slows growth and sustainability, not a good way for race groups,
and tracks to be successful.

Aluminum blocks are repairable even with major damage. Stock Chevy blocks are getting rare. With all the machining and the way they lighten the steel blocks now days the cost over time isn't going to be much different. 60 lbs in front of the front motor plate is a big penalty for the aluminum blocks plus they still have to make the 1475 lbs total weight rule.

Find a purpose in life ..... Be a bad example
