Sat. Night went to Peru for 600cc non-wing race. $10,000 to win. $4,000 2nd. 50 laps. Over 120 entries 12 heats. Pits were full. And had to create more pits behind 1st class grand stand. This track is as nice as you will see. Somebody put a hell'va effort to believe. Entries from NY, to Fla to Oky. Last weekend $8,000 to win in Logansport and told a very very young girl won there. So many young racers who have the skills NOW! Against good adults.
Several fast girls. And pits 75% familys with cars. Never seen a 600 track this good. Track worked on a lot during the night for really good surface. Youth and adults throwing it in there.
In our troubled times seeing these family's having freedom and fun is a feel good.
